This is a semi abstract painting of a the sort of views you get high up on the moors near the iconic Cat and Fiddle Inn on the A54. The Inn had been closed for a while but is set to open as home to a distillery that offers tours & tastings. Storms can be pretty grim up there but also quite dramatic as they clear. Even on a cloudy day there is always colour! So the idea behind this is the feeling of relief after the storm.
